Artificial quartz stone inherits the characteristics of natural granite, such as hard nature, corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, and beautiful appearance, and overcomes the shortcomings of natural stone, such as non renewable, poor pollution resistance, and radioactivity in some types. Therefore, it is widely used in the interior decoration field, mainly including kitchen, bathroom, public dining room and other worktops.
The developing countries represented by China have their own advantages such as good industrial foundation and convenient transportation, and the local consumption market has huge potential. After nearly ten years of production and market accumulation, China's Guangdong, Hubei, Shandong and other real estate industries have developed relatively mature artificial stone industry clusters, and leading enterprises in the industry have demonstrated strong international competitiveness in automation production, product performance research and development, pattern design and other fields.
During 2015-2021, the production capacity of China's artificial stone industry continued to grow. According to incomplete statistics, the production capacity of China's artificial stone industry was 6.5 million tons in 2015, and will increase to about 9.65 million tons in 2021, an increase of 6.5 million tons over 2015. It is expected that the production capacity of China's artificial stone industry will exceed 10 million tons in 2022.
