In the afternoon of January 17, 2015, Hu Xianrong, Secretary of the Daoxian County Party Committee, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, led a delegation to visit the Foshan factory of Longmeida Stone Group. This investigation is a Guangdong trip launched by the Daoxian County Party Committee for local investment promotion, led by the county party secretary. Accompanied by Gong Meihua, Chairman of Longmeida Stone Group, the delegation visited and learned about the process of stone production and processing in the workshop, and appreciated the exquisite jade background wall and jade handicrafts.
After visiting Longmeida Factory, a symposium was held in Longmeida Foshan Conference Room. The delegation affirmed the production and enterprise development of Longmeida Stone Group, and appreciated the 13 years of brilliant development of Longmeida Stone Group since its inception in 2002. Secretary Hu Xianrong expressed his hope that Longmeida Stone Group and Daoxian County could form a cooperation mechanism and make use of the development advantages of Longmeida and the resource advantages of Daoxian County to form complementarities so as to obtain greater development space.
According to information, Daoxian County is rich in mineral resources. There are 38 kinds of main mineral deposits that have been proved to be exploitable, of which the reserves of tin and tungsten rank second in the province. The rare metals lithium and rubidium are unique in the province. It is the fourth largest manganese mining area in the country. Limestone is widely distributed in urban and rural areas, with huge reserves.
