On March 31, 2016, the 2016 Stone Annual Meeting and the Fifth High level Summit on Design and Material Selection (the 30th anniversary celebration of the establishment of Guangdong Stone Association) was held in the Canton Fair Banquet Hall on the third floor of the Westin Hotel.
At the beginning of the annual meeting, Professor Wang He, Vice President of the Architectural Design Research Institute of Guangzhou University, made a profound analysis on the cultural linkage between Zen and stone and the development and evolution of Lingnan architectural culture and art. Huang Zehong, the organizer of the conference and president of Guangdong Stone Industry Association, delivered a keynote speech. Gong Meihua, vice president of Guangdong Stone Industry Association and president of Foshan Longmeida Stone Industry Co., Ltd., and more than 300 guests from the stone and design industries attended the conference.
