On the morning of June 8, 2022, Li Wen, Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Yingshan County, Hubei Province, led a party and government delegation to Topteck Stone Sharing Platform for investigation and exchange. Qin Meng, Deputy County Chief, Jiang Guangxia, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, Wu Song, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC, and others attended the inspection. Lian Liqing, Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Yuncheng District, Yunfu City, Liang Jianhui, Deputy District Chief, Chen Sining, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC of Yuncheng District, accompanied by relevant leaders of the Municipal Stone Industry Association, the District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the District Bureau of Natural Resources, the District Federation of Industry and Commerce and other units. Gong Meihua, Executive Vice President of Yunfu Stone Industry Association and Chairman of the Stone Special Committee, and Chairman of Topteck Stone Sharing Platform, received the delegation.
Accompanied by Chairman Gong Meihua, the delegation visited Topteck Factory. Gong Meihua introduced Topteck plant layout, equipment investment, production capacity, innovation mode and business cooperation in detail, explained the development status of Yunfu stone industry, and shared some innovative measures of Yunfu stone industry under the current situation. The delegation highly appreciated the production scale, scientific and technological application and enterprise innovation of Topteck, gave positive comments on the rich background, development advantages and excellent experience of Yunfu Stone, and said that they would integrate the results of this investigation into specific work to solidly promote the construction, operation and management of stone industry in Yingshan County. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges around stone industry development, stone resource development, industrial park construction and other matters, and they agreed that the two places should learn from each other, strengthen interaction, and jointly promote the stone industry to become stronger and larger.
Yingshan County is located in the east of Hubei Province, at the south foot of Tiantangzhai, the main peak of Dabie Mountains. The ground in the county is mainly controlled by NE trending folds and faults. The nonmetallic mineral resources in the county are mainly granite, marble, yellow sand and vein quartz, and there are also some reserves of amphibolite and garnet. The Dabie Mountains are the watershed between the Yangtze River and the Huaihe River. The mountain structure is relatively complex. The Late Archean Dabie metamorphic complex, mainly composed of biotite hornblende plagioclase gneiss, magnetite paleoquartz, granulite, and striped migmatite, is widely exposed. A large number of acid granites are exposed. The soil in the Dabie Mountains natural conservation area is mostly formed by weathering of granite and gneiss. Yingshan County is an important distribution area of stone resources in Hubei Province. The total proven granite reserves have reached 500 million cubic meters, of which Nanhe sesame ash reserves are the largest. Relying on the rich sesame grey stone resources, Yingshan County is striving to build a stone industry park to promote the standardized development of the stone industry.
