Especially in recent years, after the approval of the construction of Hainan International Tourism Island, Hainan's stone industry has developed rapidly, attracting more stone enterprises to Hainan for "gold". At present, there are more than 800 large and small stone enterprises in our province, of which Haikou accounts for half, reaching more than 400. However, for a long time, these enterprises have acted independently, repeatedly invested, and resources cannot be shared, which has seriously restricted the development of Hainan stone mining industry. In addition, the shortage of talents and backward technology have become the bottleneck restricting the development of Hainan stone industry.
"Hainan is very convenient for water transportation. At present, there is only one large-scale distribution center in Guangdong and Fujian in China, and Hainan Island has unique shipping advantages, cheap prices, and raw material import advantages, which can be a national stone material distribution center with more advantages than Guangdong and Fujian." Ruan Shaogen, secretary-general of the Provincial Stone Mining Technology Association, said that with the continuous intensification of competition in the stone industry, mergers and acquisitions and capital operations among large enterprises have become increasingly frequent. The establishment of associations to keep warm has become one of the main trends. In recent years, Hainan's hot real estate market has driven the development of Hainan's stone mining technology industry. However, the embarrassment is that at present, Hainan stone market has an annual turnover of 4 billion yuan, 60% of which is divided by large enterprises and suppliers outside the island.
Lv Zhenming, president of the Provincial Stone Mining Technology Association, said: "Limited by the island's resources, the local building materials are single, and the current stone market has a phenomenon of" focusing on materials rather than technology "." In recent years, due to the hot stone market, the number of stone enterprises in our province has increased significantly. The entry of many "poorly educated" enterprises has not only increased the material consumption ratio of stone, but also caused excessive consumption of stone resources. In addition, although Hainan has a lot of mineral resources, it is still unable to get rid of the situation of relying entirely on the market outside the island. The main problem is that the quality is not high enough, and some products cannot be used by star hotels, which can only be used on municipal sidewalks and square roads. In view of this situation, the newly established stone mining technology association will form a consortium to let the scattered small enterprises in the past, under the leadership of the association, form an "aircraft carrier" team, focus on the advantages of human resources and capital, and go to large mines in the mainland to purchase, process and sell together. Not only can the quantity be controlled by themselves, but also can reduce costs and increase income.
Nie Xiaohui, the executive vice president of the Provincial Stone Mining Technology Association, said that Wenchang, Wanning, Qionghai and other cities and counties, although their economic aggregate cannot catch up with Haikou and Sanya, have great development potential in the future. Wenchang, in particular, has regional advantages, developed transportation, rich resources, and is a hometown of overseas Chinese. The folk economy is very active. Promote deep processing, high efficiency and low consumption of stone industry. Actively guide the enterprises to further subdivide the market structure of the domestic stone industry and participate in the competition by "going out".
