On January 20, 2015, the national standard seminar on General Technical Conditions for Interior Stone Furniture was held in Longjiang Town, Shunde District, Foshan City, sponsored by the National Furniture Standardization Technical Committee and organized by Guangdong Stone Industry Association and Shunde Furniture Research and Development Institute.
The national standard formulation plan of the General Technical Conditions for Interior Stone Furniture is numbered "20130940-T-607", which is one of the national standard formulation and revision projects issued by the National Standardization Administration Commission to Shunde Furniture Research and Development Institute in the document of National Standards Committee Comprehensive [2013] No. 56 on July 18, 2013. At present, the project has completed the draft for comments.
The meeting was hosted by Zhou Xiong, vice president of Shunde Furniture Research and Development Institute, and delivered speeches by Huang Zehong, president of Guangdong Stone Association, and Zhang Jianxin, president of Shunde Furniture Research and Development Institute. During the meeting, Luo Jufen, Secretary General of the National Furniture Standards Committee, made a keynote speech on the establishment and formulation of furniture standards at home and abroad.
Secretary General Luo Jufen reviewed the work and achievements of the National Standards Committee over the past five years, and also made a detailed interpretation of the standardization construction work to be carried out in the future. He looked forward to the cooperation between the National Standards Committee and relevant industry associations, furniture manufacturing enterprises, and upstream raw material enterprises, so as to keep pace with the times and gradually improve the construction of relevant national and international standards for "new materials, new processes, and new designs" in the furniture industry.
At this seminar, 20 enterprise representatives participated. Professor Liu Xiaohong, member of the National Furniture Standardization Technical Committee and Shunde Vocational and Technical College, put forward constructive suggestions on the standard draft in combination with the trend of modern furniture design innovation.
