The Lanzhou Stone Industry Park to be constructed is located in Hekou Township, Xigu District. The first phase is planned to cover an area of 620 mu, with an investment of about 500 million yuan. The planning scope of the park covers four villages, namely Zhangjiatai, Gangzhen, Bapanxia and Shiquan. The park is constructed as unused land and does not occupy farmland. The newly-built Lanzhou Stone Industry Park has convenient transportation, with Lanyong Expressway in the south, 109 National Highway in the north, and a straight-line distance of only 7 kilometers from Lanzhou Railway Freight Station, which can fully meet the characteristics of large stone transportation volume.
The Lanzhou Stone Industry Park under planning and construction is positioned to expand the logistics distribution function of Lanzhou, cultivate large stone enterprises, increase technological innovation, and optimize stone production process under the guidance of scientific development concept and circular economy concept, with the goal of building a regional stone processing distribution center under the 12th Five Year Plan of the National Stone Industry, with the core of improving the competitiveness of Lanzhou stone industry, and with the focus on the secondary processing and sales of stone products, Promote resource recycling and take the road of industrial cluster development. It has been successfully built into a comprehensive stone industry park with complete, reasonable layout, outstanding features, complete supporting facilities, rich products, the only one in Lanzhou, and the largest in Gansu. It has created a comprehensive stone industry service platform radiating Gansu, Nanjing, and Qinghai, and driven the integrated development of urban and rural areas. The whole park is planned to be divided into three functional areas, namely comprehensive service area, recycling processing area and supporting living area. The circular processing area adopts the model of one area with multiple plants. Each plant covers an area of about 5300 square meters, and is divided into four standard production areas.
